Cervix Check Ultrasound

I am going for a Cervix Ultrasound on Thursday and was curious what to expect.  Is anyone else getting their cervix checked every couple of weeks??

The last time they checked it was at my BIG ultrasound - so i was curious if I would get a regular ultrasound at the same time - or just one to check my cervix......

 I had a cone biopsy years ago so they are worried it might be too short at some point.

    I have mine checked since I am measuring pretty far ahead due to this pregnancy starting out as triplets.

    My Peri usually does it with a vaginal probe ultrasound.  Some times they can get a so-so measurement via abdominal u/s but it is easiest with a vaginal.

    I assume they checked mine at our 18 week u/s, but nothing was said about it.  No other ultrasounds for me.

    They check it through vaginal ultrasound.  Its easy and no big deal.

    I get mine checked weekly. They usually do an abdominal u/s but if they can't get a good look at it they also do a vaginal u/s. Vaginal u/s is more accuraste but my doc says they prefer abdominal if they can get a good measurement, because they don't want to disturb anything "down there". Good luck!

    I just had my cervix checked.  First started with an abdominal ultrasound and then a vaginal ultrasound.  Pretty much put it in there for less than a minute said everything looked great and that was it.

    I had mine checked around 17 weeks.. it was external. I'm sure if they couldnt get the measurement they needed they would have gone internal.  No further talks about having it checked again.. yet!

    Thanks Ladies,

    I was kinda hoping for another glimpse of baby so would welcome and abdominal ultrasound first - and then the probe thing if they cant get the measurements.
