I picked up that munchkin bath duck at target after that discussion on bath time...I thought it was cute and kid may like it. umm, he is absolutely terrified of the thing. we tried it twice in the bath and even tried to get him to play with it on the floor. he screamed and kicked every time I put him near it - he has never done that about anything! so thanks a LOT for the rec! lol

Sorry, that made me LOL! I can't believe he didn't like it...Allie loves hers! She stands beside the tub while I get the water ready and continuously squeezes its beak and when it quacks she opens her mouth and giggles.

Oh no!

Can you return it for the inflatable tub that is just a tub? (It doesn't have the duck head or anything on it.) That is what we use for K.

I'm sorry I giggled at that a little..it's like when clowns freak people out, but I can totally see how a giant duck might freak him out

I know it wasn't funny when he freaked out but it is funny to hear you tell the story!! LOL!! Does he do that with other duck things? Hope you find something that works better. Lyla loved hers...

Poor kid! My mom has told me stories about myself having a similar reaction to a little talking apple. She said I would scream like someone was hurting me if I even saw it in the same room.

I can try to take it back...but you know how Target can be about returns. I will probably just give it to someone I know with a baby. No, I didn't get it on video! I know he would do it again but I'm not that mean! He has a rubber duckie bath toy, but it's blue. Maybe he just hates the color yellow.

I admit, I LOL'd too when I read the post.

Hopefully you can exchange it for something else. Poor GK, he just didn't wanna have his bath time with the duck.

Poor kid. If you're looking for something to use now while he's nit quite big enough for the big bath but the duck tub is a no, try a laundry basket. I used that for Avery with a towel on the bottom. The towel gets soaked but it makes it so they can't really fall too far and it makes them feel less intimidated because it's a smaller more confined space

Sarah, the funny thing is that we didn't even NEED it. I've had him sitting on a mat in the big tub and he was doing fine. I really thought it would just be fun for him! Ha!

Lisa, it wasn't me! Unless you are talking about the smart car...DH was probably there!
