ok i think everyone has a different definition of "romper"
I do not consider what Grant was wearing a romper. That's a one pc outfit.
To me, a romper is something a girl wears that is a dress in the front and a onesie in the back,and snaps in the crotch like a onesie. I don't know of a boy romper.KWIM?
At least that's what a romper is in my neck of the woods, and I think they are only cute on babies that are too young to walk. Grant's outfit is cute even up to age 2.
I think we need to PIP our definition of a romper lol.
Mom to 2 beautiful girls, 3 yrs and 22 months old. My 2nd was born at 32 weeks due to Rhogam failure/severe complications from Rh disease and is our miracle. She has bilateral auditory neuropathy and a cochlear implant, activated 4/5/2012 at 19 months.

I agree, that is one piece outfit.
However, I find it strange that I keep seeing 2T onesies.
lol yes, just saw pattypound cakes post. The first is cute, and not what I would call a romper.
The 2nd, only cute for little babies.

This is what 'romper' means to me. And this, is ugly. IMO - 'rompers' only work on boys up to about 12 months. Then it becomes weird, lol.
I have ZERO issue with cotton one pieces. Love them. Jack LIVED in them last summer.

thisis just a cotton one peice to me, but very cute, esp for small babies
I only call this a romper, because carters does.
Otherwise it would be a one piece shirt-thingy. I got a few for DS for the summer, but I'm thinking it won't be as cute as last summer, but it doesn't matter, on really hot days, I'd rather him be comfy than cute.
I love rompers / jon jons. You ladies that hate them should probably never move to the south. You'd see them all the time on babies thru toddler age.
This is my definition of a jon jon. I've seen them called a romper, but I think that term also applies to your basic Carter's one pieces.
So what is the age limit? I persoanlly think Rompes can be adorable. Now the pic that Totty posted, eh, not my style but I wouldn't be all dagger stares at he Mother, it's persoanl style.
FWIW, DD rocked this (pic beow) up until 15 months old when it became too short. I freakin' loved this outfit and got all sorts of compliments on it. :shrug:
