QOTW: My parents will come in for the birth and then leave when we go home. My mom wants us to have time to rest and bond with the baby. They live 2 hrs away so they're not far. I doubt my in-laws will come. My FIL has been in the hospital for about a month now. My MIL is probably too old to drive all that way by herself. (they're in MO). If my FIL is still alive I believe DH & I will drive up to MO sometime before we go back to work.
I'm feeling great. We go back to the dr next week for another ultrasound, then it's every two weeks! Eeek! Time is flying by. I don't want it to speed up, but I don't want to get miserable. I'm enjoying it just the way it is.

QOTW: i think i will be pretty thankful to have visitors. i cannot imagine how much more difficult it is going to be to have 2 newborns at home, especially when we got DS home, he was almost 7 weeks and already on a schedule and everything. DH's mom lives in town (as does most of his family) so we will have help. my mom lives in S.A. and is taking a week off of work to stay with us. also, my sister is going to come up here for 1/2 week-1 week and help out. my BFF also offered to come and help. she offered to take DS (her Godson) for a while too if we wanted...sounds good! it will give him a chance for everything to be about him again for a while.
How am i feeling? *sigh* HORRIBLE. i hurt so bad and tylenol isnt helping anymore :-( i am at that point where i am NEVER comfy anymore either....ugh! friday i have my 34 week appt, another NST, and then an appt with my MFM. i am excited to get another u/s to see how big the Peanuts have got! and of course to see if they are head down still...i think so, no big movement changes felt here.
QOTW: My parents will fly in the day before I get induced and stay with us a week at our house. Then, my MIL will come for 2 weeks and stay with us. I welcome all of the family and visitors that want to come. I will enjoy the help and company. I have always liked having poeple around. So the more the merrier! :-) We don't have any family in town anyway, so I will enjoy having them come help out.
Our BIG Ultrasound is on March 5th!!! In only 10 days! I can't wait to know if this baby is a boy or girl. I have a feeling it is a girl. :-)
QOTW: The plan is for everyone to come when the baby is born, during which time, I have no clue where they'll stay. Maybe they'll go home the same day (Houston & Dallas areas) or they can stay at our house if we're at the hospital. When my DH goes back to work, my mom will come back and stay with us for about a week. Then when she goes back, my MIL will come to stay with us for a few days if I still need help.
Feeling well most of the time, but do have various aches and pains and the famous sleep troubles. Our 3D/4D ultrasound is finally this Saturday and I am SO excited!
QOTW: My mom is flying in from CA 5 days before my due date, staying for a few days after baby is born to help watch DD. Then she's going to visit her friends while we bond as a little family, and will be back once DH goes back to work and will stay for about 2 weeks. This only works out if baby comes around due date of course! DH's parents are coming for a week after my mom leaves so I'll have help for about 6 weeks!
I'm feeling uncomfortable and not getting much sleep, but I'm trying not to wish the pregnancy away since it might be our last and I also want to cherish the time I have left with just DD. Being so tired and huge is making that a little hard though!
QOTW: My mom, my sister, and DH's parents all live within 25 mins of our house. So they'll just come and go as we need/want them to, just like when DD was born. No one will stay with us.
Other than just flat out being tired of being pregnant, I am good. I had my 38-week appt yesterday and am still sitting at 1 cm dilated, like I was at 37 weeks. With DD I never had ANY progress so it's nice to have SOMETHING this time. I was induced at 9 days past my due date with DD and we've already set an induction date for this baby of March 10th because my aunt/OB is leaving on Spring Break and I want her to deliver my baby. My aunt predicted yesterday that we will need that induction date because I'll go overdue again. I have been feeling the same way but hearing it from my aunt (the professional) was bittersweet because although I'm not quite ready to have TWO kids, I am dying to know if it's a boy or girl and like I said, I'm tired of being pregnant and just want to wear normal clothes and workout again! Of course anything can happen though and maybe I won't go overdue. We shall see!
QOTW: I really, really hope that my mom can stay for at least a week after the baby comes. I am sure I will need all the help I can get. I think DH's mom will probably want to come out for a week or two, as well. I think we'll have room for them in our house, but have relatives close by if we end up not having room for some reason. My guess is that my aunt who's a nurse will want to come for a couple days and make us food. I will not complain!
I've been feeling horrible. The nausea is getting worse when I was hoping it would get better by this point. I'm kind of having trouble hiding this from co-workers since I feel so bad and I can barely eat (except for bagels and cereal). I just found out that my mom had zero morning sickness during her pgs (two girls) but my aunt was sick the entire nine months (boy). PLEASE let this go away in a couple of weeks!
Last time, my Mom came the first week and 1/2 (we lived in Houston then), and my MIL came the day she left. Since we're in Austin now, (my parents live here), it'll be pretty much the same, though I imagine my Mom will go home some. It worked well the last time, and it's important (for us) for the grandparents to get to be there as soon as they want/can.
Feeling-wise, I am sick, sick, sick with a head cold/sinus pressure, so sleeping is in spurts. I'm now on week 2 of no morning sickness!! Baby hb was 140-144 at our Friday appt., so I'm still thinking "boy", but we're waiting until baby's birthday to find out. Big u/s is next week, weird to think that we're not gonna find out!

QOTW - My parents will drive up when they get the call, the ILs live here in town. My mom will probably stay as long as I want her to and dad might go home after a couple days. Nothing's really been formally discussed or set in stone, but sounds like that's the plan.
How am I feeling? Ugh, I'm pretty done. I'm so uncomfortable and feel so big. I probably went to the bathroom like 20 times last night and it feels like such a chore to get out of bed. My back hurts a lot...I can't get comfortable even sitting on the couch. I'm ready to have my body back and work out and wear normal clothes again! Besides, I'm so ready to have an outside baby, I'm getting very impatient.

qotw - not sure how we will handle family yet - both of our families live in the midwest, so they would be flying in. I personally wouldn't mind a few days to bond and settle in before they come to visit, but I don't know that we'll be able to keep them at bay. But heck no, no long term stays... we just got done with a 10 day visit from the ILs (staying with us), and I thought I was going to go out of my mind.
Not feeling too great. Not throwing up, but the nausea is pretty bad, especially in the afternoons and evenings. Had our first appt. about a week and a half ago, and baby is measuring right on schedule! We both think it is a boy. Immediately family is in on the news, but we're going to try to keep it a secret for a few more weeks before we tell everyone else.QOTW: All of our family is OOT (and not driving distance). MH is taking2 weeks off work after the baby is born, so my mom is coming out for 7 days two weeks after my due date. After that, MH's mom will come from 1-2 weeks, and then my sister will come for 1-2 weeks.
I am feeling pretty good. Reducing my hours at work has been a HUGE help - I'm getting more sleep and the heartburn is so much better now that I am able to eat a little earlier and not stuff my face right before bedtime. The baby has decided she really likes to kick me in my right rib, which has been uncomfortable at times, but that is really my only complaint.
I had an appointment with my high risk OB last week, and she told me that I would most likely not be allowed to go much past my due date. I'm a little nervous about possibly being induced, but I've heard that, if you take it slow, it's not so bad, so I am concentrating on that.
QOTW: All of our family is out of state so we're going to have many visitors. My parents and DH's mom will be here for the birth (hopefully). My parents are flying in from Washington DC for 3 weeks, and DH's mom is flying in from Colorado Springs, CO. DH's mom is going home after the birth and will return when my parents go home. DH's dad and stepmom will be here to see us for the week at Thanksgiving. We'll have a full house for awhile... and I'm sure having many people stay with us is going to get on my nerves, but the help will be nice.
I'm not feeling that bad today so far. Sometimes my sickness hits late afternoon/evening... I just never know. I'm SO tired. My appointment went really well yesterday and it was great to see the baby for the first time. We go back again in 3 weeks for another u/s and more bloodwork.

QOTW: I haven't really worked anything out since it's still so early, but I don't think it's that big of a deal for anyone to come and stay with me this time since nothing is really new to me. Unless of course, something is new to me and I start desperately calling people for help at the last minute! Last time, my mom came and stayed for a few days after we got home, but it was hard with Christmas being right there for her to really stay much. I'm not going to be opposed to people coming to visit after the baby is born, I've gotten use to just about everything that I wasn't ok with last time!
I'm feeling pretty good. I've been religiously taking vitamin b6 and ginger every morning and it's keeping my nausea at bay! I'm so glad it's working and I'm finally able to feel like eating just about anything and not near as tired as I have been either. I had my first appt. last Thursday, everything went great, got to see the baby and hear the heartbeat. I don't know much yet on the $ front, but I only had to pay $140 for that visit (u/s only) my doctor is really nice...and he also managed to get my blood work labs to a minimum as well. Not sure how much that will be yet, but it should be under $300.
DH MADE me have ALL of our bags packed by 26-27 weeks...glad i did since we used them at 29.
Now, we are repacked and ready to go!
I know how we will handle part of it. My Mom is coming for the first 2-3 weeks depending on how we do with getting on a schedule, etc. If the babies come closer to their due date, then my Mom and his Mom will be here at the same time. We have a grandparent room aka guest bedroom that will be used by my mom and I am not sure where my MIL will go. She is a good woman but we don't exactly see eye to eye and there is stress that I would rather avoid. DH is going to have to run interference.
I am doing okay. I need to buy a prenatal cradle and my Peri said to expect to go out at about 32w or cut back. He thinks that either PTL or Pre-E will get me not the babies. So, he is guestimating a 35-37w delivery. We will see.
