So our closet is one of the wide ones with sliding doors except when we had new carpet put down they pulled up the tracks for the doors and we can't put them back down without ripping up the carpet so we are going to just leave the closet open with curtains that I can close or pull off to the side.
Well, I would like to have a beautifully organized closet so I can leave the curtains open. I'm an organizing freak anyway, I like everything to be organized.
Does anyone have pictures of their nursery closet? i've been looking online but all i can find are the hanging organizers and I was hoping to have a few more choices..
btw, this was also posted on 2nd trimester
Re: nursery closet organization
My Mom just called me about cool closet organizers on One Step Ahead. Check it out, they might have elements that you like.

Try that link. I had the same trouble when I googled until someone gave me this link.
We're doing the exact same thing as you and wanted a nice looking organized closet. We ended up using white boards and doing a center floor to ceiling shelving unit with 2 sets of rods on each side for hanging clothes. Above each rod, there's a board for setting stuff on.
I'm planning to put some baskets in the center shelving.
Our closet looks almost identical to the closet on the far right, second from the bottom (the one with pink walls and brown border) in the link above.
Someone had this question the other day. We planned our closet online at closetmaid.com and then purchased the pieces at home depot. We spent about $250 for a 6 shelf tower with 3 adjustable bars, 2 small drawers, 2 big drawers, and a top shelf. I plan on putting canvas bins on the top shelves.
