Aren't we going to talk about the snow!?

I pray DH can be convinced to work from home tomorrow. I hate him driving on all those bridges and overpasses in bad weather. But yay! What a good excuse to snuggle down with some hot chocolate and my girls. I might keep Abby home from MDO so I don't have to take Emily out in it. Is there any chance of the schools being closed? MDO goes with RRISD closings.

Maybe I can convince Abby to go out in the snow this time. She couldn't care less last time. Until she woke up from her nap. Then she ran downstairs and stared out the window asking "Where snow?". I explained to her that this is Texas and snow only lasts about 5 minutes most of the time.

    tuesday was going to be grocery shopping day, but i wonder if any food will be left... :)

    i might head out in a few to check.

    I'm going to start picketing outside my house. Maybe Mother Nature will see me and send the snow to San Antonio.

    Yep. I wanted to tell you that DH's Grandma liked the picture we used on the birth announcement. DH said to her "Yeah, it was really hard to get the polar bear to sit still for the picture" She got wide eyed and quite honestly responded "I bet!"

    YAY! I just want my DH to be able to stay home this time and get to play in the snow with T.  Last time (when it snowed for 30 minutes), I stayed home and it was such a blast to see him in it.  I have a feeling Mother Nature is just teasing though.

    According to TWC it will be rain in the am with snow starting around 11 and into the afternoon. What are snow showers? snow and rain mix? I wouldn't mind snow, it's not like we get it all the time.

    They're saying it won't be cold enough to really have any effect.  The roads will still be warm and the snow will be minimal.

    I would love a snow day, though!

    I highly doubt it will actually snow. I really think the newsmen need something to get excited about and create some drama, so they talk about snow. And when it comes down to it. it'll just be nasty cold and maybe a little drizzly.

    I did not want to talk about the snow because I woke up this morning to a broken heater and was not sure when the guys could come fix it. 'Tis done and now my checkbook hurts.

    Anywho, I actually hope there is not a snow day at UT tomorrow because my students have an exam and rescheduling it would be awful.

    This!  If it isn't enough to get me out of work and just makes for a miserable day... I'm not interested!
