I've been measuring at 38 for the past 3 or so weeks i think. I wouldn't be concerned other than my DD is measuring kind of small for her age with a tummy circumferance thats below the 2% range.
Are (or were) any of you ladies "small" for twins? My OB doesn't seem concerned...I'm gaining weight (I've gained 52 so fair, and just hit the 200lbs marker last week)....but I dunno, i thought i'd be a lot bigger by now ![]()
Re: I feel really tiny for 33 weeks with twins :( PIP
I think you look great! Lucky you, you are all babies in the front.
My a$$,my thighs, hips, boobs....everything is spreading!
This is why you will ONLY see a side view, and the reason I am wearing black pants. I think my thighs are pregnant with their own set of twins.
I'm actually really right in line with you, even less weight gain. I'm 31 1/2 weeks (also with twins) and I think my total weight gain is only 38 lbs or so? I was disappointed that I didn't gain any weight as of my last appt - that was after a 2 week period. My doctor seems fine with it though.
I did gain just over 20 lbs in the first 20 weeks, which is the more important part per Dr. Luke at least. That early weight gain is what helps increase gestation. If you're really worried, try to up your calories - add a daily protein shake or something - which is what I'm trying to do.
You look great!
I was told constantly that I was tiny for twins.
Here's my 33 week picture:

I gained a total of 43 pounds over my pregnancy.
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
everyone carries differently. this was me at 33 weeks and i dont think i ever got larger (babies came at 35 weeks, were both over 5 pounds and no needed no nicu). dont stress it!
Thank you for posting that! How much did they weigh at birth?
Agreed!
They were born at 36w2d and Lily weighed 5 lbs 14 oz and Sophia weighed 6 lbs 3 oz.

I think you look great. I'm only 5'2" but I gained a total of 51lbs when I was pg (topping out at 181lbs) and the dr. was very happy with my weight gain. I delivered 2 healthy babies at 37 weeks.
As long as you are eating healthy and feel good don't worry about the belly or the numbers - your babies are getting what they need
I'm at 31 weeks and have the same concern. Thanks for posting this, it's nice to see the other mommas who were about the same size who had healthy kids.
You look fab, btw
