24w Gift for DH

We are fast approaching Viability day and I would like to get DH a little something from the kiddos.  Did anyone do this?  Suggestions?

    Sorry, no advice, as I am not sentimental.  In my opinion though, (and it is just an opinion and obviously, take it or leave it as I mean no offense) 24 weeks is really not celebration worthy.  It is "technical" viability, but the statistics on babies' well being if born at 24 weeks are very very grim.  There was a discussion here not too long ago about that.  I think 28 weeks is when you really leave most of the bad stuff behind.

    Way to go!!  I'm only week 10.  The morning sickness is kicking my butt. Ick!

    Making it to 24 weeks is something to be proud of.  Does your DH have any "expectant father" books? 

    I recently saw onesies that said, "If you think I'm cute, you should see my Daddy"... those would be cute.  The men in our lives want to be involved too.  I think he would love anything!

    I get what post above is saying about 24 wks but, I think it is an emotional accomplishment.  We have to set short term goals to get through any pregnancy.

    Is there something he could use a lot around the house?  Any kind of tool or a new grill?

    You could also make him a card and put a newer u/s pic in it.

    I think it's a nice sentiment for both of you.

    For us, babies in the belly at 24 wks was all we needed

    Unfortunately I don't have anyone to do something like this for, but maybe something that represents the babies that is just for you and him. Maybe a funny t-shirt about the babies. I'm sure anything you do will be special to him!

    Thanks Everyone for your thoughts.  While I respect that 24w is just viable and that they get more viable the longer they are baking, doing something for DH to commemorate is important to me.

    Thanks for the ideas.  I have some things to think about!!
