We just got our cash-back rewards check today. $424.31 just for using our credit card for the past 6 months. No limits. No points to be reimbursed. Just cash.
We don't pay any interest because we pay it off every month. We don't pay any fees. We haven't paid the credit card company anything other than for our purchases. And that's why I'm glad we have a credit card.
Re: AW: And THIS is why you use a credit card...
Costco AMEX. It's amazing. Clark Howard (financial guru) loves it!

DH and I got a credit on our acocunt equal to one half an average months charges. I am soo with you. We pay it off every month but put EVERYTHING on it. Today I went to the grocery and put $6.75 on it. I used to get embarrassed. Not any more. CHARGE IT.

Go Horizon! I have an AMEX Blue Cash card, and pay it off in full every month. You get extra cash back for purchases on gas, grocery, and pharmacy items.
I also think CC's are a good tool to have because they give you added protection in the case of any kind of merchant dispute. I may not have much weight to throw around as a consumer, but AMEX sure does!
We use an Alaska Airlines CC for most of our purchases, and this is how I'm getting my whole family to Isha's house on Saturday for $15. Yep, 3 round trip tickets to LA.
It is looking like the costco AMEX might be a better deal though - do you find that there are a lot of places that don't accept AMEX though?
There are a few, but they are mostly small or local businesses because AMEX charges businesses ridiculous fees (thus why they have such amazing rewards). That's why we also have a Visa for places that don't take AMEX. However, we generally only have about $10-20/month on our Visa bill.
