Day 5 of her being sick, I decided it was time to take her in. Good thing I did. She's got bronchitis. So now we are doing breathing treatments at home with the nebulizer and hopefully she will start feeling better soon!
Ethan's doing treatments right now too, he isn't a fan! AT. ALL. Hopefully Em takes to it better! :0)
The moment a child is born,
the mother is also born.
She never existed before.
The woman existed, but the mother, never.
A mother is something absolutely new.

She did ok in the doctors office. I think she realized that it made her feel better so she was ok with it. But I have a feeling it will be a different story at home.
Ethan SCREAMS BLOODY MURDER the whole time, and we have to do it 2x a day for a month. I hope he gets used to it because I dont know if I can handle putting him through that all the time.

We were told by a mom at the daycare (who's child was on the treatments) that it was ok, actually encouraged, to have him scream/cry because he'd inhale more. (no, we didn't try to make him cry either- poor kid)

That's what my doc said too. The more they cry the more they get in.
LOL- well in that case he is getting a LOT. Seriously.

Nebulizer treatments are the story of my life right now. Gah! Bradley needs it every 4 hours. He's not thrilled about it. It's been far from a good time this past week. I hope Em feels better 'cus I know how bad this sucks (for you and her)!
Re: The baby has bronchitis. Bah!
Poor Em! I hope she feels better soon. Giving those treatments sucks (had to do it in the daycare all the time).
And AHHHHH! Congrats on the new little pea! Stick and hold on tight little one
