Baby meds to have on hand?

Infant Tylenol?  Anything else?

I know I'm question happy today.  Wink

Re: Baby meds to have on hand?

  • Mylicon! Target and CVS both have store brands.  I don't like the dropper for the CVS one, though - it is hard to see how much is in the tube.

  • Definitely the tylenol.  And mylicon drops.
  • Thank you for the Mylicon suggestions.  Completely forgot about that.

    This.

Gripe Water- great for hiccups even though they say they don't bother LO's. They bother me.

  • Little Noses Saline Drops in case LO is congested.
  • Mylicon, aquaphor, tylenol, and oragel. Those are my recs. Also when teething gets really bad benadryl too
  • Tylenol, little noses saline spray/drops (you can get the aspirator at the hospital -- take 2 -- they are usually the best kind anyway), gas drops.

Later on, Hylands Teething tablets.  Not an orajel fan (and DD hated it).  Might want to keep some juice boxes of apple or pear juice on hand to help if constipated (talk to your pedi first and oftentimes a little water (like a dropperful) can do the same trick when very little).  After 6 mos you'll want Baby Motrin -- it works better oftentimes for teething and ear infection pain but can be rougher on the stomach.
