Anyone else get dizzy after glucose drink?

I had my glucose test today and kinda got caught off guard ny a surprise u/s.  I'm not gonna complain, it got to see my girl again :)  Anyway, I drank it in the waiting room and then right back for the u/s.  Laying down for about 40-50 min.  Then went, peed in a cup, answered some questions and went for bloodwork.  When I was answering questions, I got really, really dizzy and kinda had a hard time getting my eyes to focus.

As soon as bloodwork was done and I drank some water, I felt better.  Did this happen to anyone else?  I'm kinda taking it as a bad sign like I might have to go back for the 3 hour test.....

    It made me dizzy and very nauseous, and I passed so don't worry yet!

    PS - I did eat breakfast today too (scrambled eggs), so I didn't have the drink on an empty stomach.  Thanks!

    The drink made me feel super tired and gave me a horrible headache, and that made me worry about the results. I passed!

    i came very close to fainting. i'd had breakfast but they gave me peanut butter and crackers anyway. my doc said it's normal. i passed the 1 hour despite this.

    i felt fine and passed. however i've heard that how you feel during that time is no indicator on whether you'll pass or fail.

    Oh man - I almost passed out twice while waiting for the blood draw and I was nervous like you.  But the nurse told me they don't care how you do during the wait, only how your bloodwork looks after an hour...and mine was fine :)

    I passed with a very low blood sugar count (I had a 60, doc wanted it under 140), and I was still nauseated after drinking it. I wouldn't take this as a hint towards failing it.

    I just had my glucose test today as well.  It didn't taste as bad as I thought it would be...more of a super sugary fruit punch and it turned my lips orange! 

    I didn't get dizzy after the drink but I did get a little nauseous, but that passed very quickly.  I drank the glucola on an empty stomach.

    You're lucky that you got an u/s...they just poked me and took blood.  GL to us both that we pass.  I have to wait a week for the results.

    I got very dizzy & very sick but I passed. Don't take it as a bad sign! Good luck!

    I got very nauseous and had to really concentrate not to vomit. I passed though...nurse said I got an A plus.  Then I was waiting for the doctor afterward and drinking some water...and I puked in his sink. Instantly felt better though. Least I passed!

    Am I the only one who got their results right away? They pricked my finger, I went to give them a urine sample and when I came back five minutes later the nurse said I passed.
