favorite maternity brands/stores?

I am pregnant with #2 due in July.  With my first I was only pregnant in winter so I didn't need tanks, tees, and sun dresses, etc.  I am all set with pants and long sleeve stuff.....most of my stuff was not maternity (except my 7 maternity jeans a few other things) as I just got tunic style tops or larger sizes of regular clothes.  I have been to Target and have a few things from Gap and Old Navy Maternity.  I just want to know your favorite go to places for CUTE, reasonable, simple maternity clothes--summer especially!!  Thanks:)

Re: favorite maternity brands/stores?

  • I was pregnant throughout the summer - I would say that 90% of my clothes were from Motherhood Maternity. I liked what they had to offer.

  • I have the same problem....I have lots of sweaters and winter stuff, no summer stuff!

I've found a few things at Target, Old Navy and Gap.  I actually got some sundresses a size up at Target the other day (non maternity).  I also found some cheap tunic shirts and sundresses and Forever 21 (cheap, yes, but just for one summer).  Pea in the Pod can be ok, but pricey (I've had luck on sale racks).

  • I had a really cute pair of capris from Motherhood Maternity. I also had some cute tank tops from there.

  • Most of my mat.clothes came from either Motherhood Maternity, Gap, or Old Navy.

  • Most of mine were from Motherhood Maternity. Heidi Klum just launched a maternity line there a few days ago. I haven't seen it yet, but I have heard it is cute.

Also, check out once upon a child. Ours has a lot of nice maternity clothes that were barely worn. Some still have the tags on them.

  • i'm all about maxi dresses or knit sundresses a size up.  i got a bunch of mat tanks from old navy.  in general - mat clothes suck!  =(
  • I hated motherhood.  I thought their stuff was super cheap looking.  I liked Mimi though.  I think that Mimi is now part of the Pea in the Pod stores.  I think Pea in the Pod is overpriced, but Mimi was nice happy medium between motherhood and Pea.  Target stuff did not hold up well either, in my opinion.
  • I got a really cute maternity dress in JCPenney.  I loved their pants and some of their tops too.  I had good luck in Kohl's a few times too.  The section in our Kohl's was small, but the sale prices were awesome!
  • I find Motherhood clothes ticky tacky for the most part. I got almost everything from the Gap (we have an outlet nearby).

  • Old Navy, Gap, Kohls (they have a Motherhood line in the store).

Motherhood maternity had decent clothes but the return policy SUCKED.  Not worth it, IMO.

  • The big majority of my maternity clothes were from Gap, and then Japanese Weekend (cute tops).  I also have a bunch of dresses and items from Olian.  I found them at a boutique here, but they sell them at Nordstrom.

  • Isabella Oliver .   It's an online boutique.  Not cheap, but adorable, adorable, adorable!
