Getting closer to having an outside has made me start to think about how I'm going to get back into shape afterward... I'm very curious to see what the recovery time is like and how hard it will be to get back to my regular mileage and training.
I'd love to hear from your experience...
For moms that have already lost the baby weight... how long did it take you?
Did you breastfeed and follow any anything particular diet?
Did you notice any differences in your body (like wider hips or extra skin on tummy) even though you got back to your original weight?
If you're pregnant with your first, do you have a plan for getting back to pre-pregnancy shape?

Did you breastfeed and follow any anything particular diet? yes - i have been EBFing since the very beginning and plan to do it for another 3 months. i try to watch my diet - but its been really hard. in the beginning i was so tired that i often had junk food for dinner because i just couldn't get it together and take care of lula, the house, make dinner, etc - but lately i've been on top of things and feel a lot better about where i'm at.
Did you notice any differences in your body (like wider hips or extra skin on tummy) even though you got back to your original weight? once again - not quite there but i have noticed my jiggly section is above my hips on the backside - which is weird. things won't be exactly where they were before i was pg.
If you're pregnant with your first, do you have a plan for getting back to pre-pregnancy shape? i'm doing the shread (jillian micheals) and its awesome. i haven't been able to do it 30 days consistently - every day is different. once it warms up (i live in montana and it's freezing cold until may-ish haha) then i'm going to start running everynight again.
