Shopping

Hi i am 13 weeks and I want to know the sex of the baby which will be in a few more weeks. When is a good time to shop for baby stuff without it being too early.

Re: Shopping

  • I waited until we knew DS was a boy before I registered or bought anything. But I say go for it whenever you are ready!

  • Depends what baby stuff you are referring to and whether you want everything gender specific?  I'm still very early, but for a while now i've been collecting baby blankets or neutral onesies that I find on special.  Bigger things such as cribs and prams etc I will more than likely wait until 20 weeks or so.  It's completely a personal choice though - go whenever you are ready!

  • I am dying to go shopping.  I still feel it is too early.  We are going to Palm Springs today and I SO want to stop at the Carter's outlet.  I don't think my hubby will let me, he doesn't want to really talk about things or do things like it is a given.  I understand the rationale, but still, it does make me go nuts sometimes.
