I really want to try a vbac this time. BUT I live 2 hrs and 20 min from the hospital and do not have in-state childcare (family lives in NM) Would you do anything you possibly could to attempt a vbac (driving the long distance when labor hits and leaving jax with a friend until a relative can come in)  or due to these circumstances just schedule a repeat c section?

and..jax has never stayed with anyone here.. :(

    So different for everyone. 2.5 hours to a hospital is a long way. Especially for a second pregnancy.

    I'd probably talk to the doctor about some options there because I wouldn't be able to last 2.5 hours in a car while in labour. I had to move.

    I'd probably schedule a section.

    I agree with pp. The decision is so personal, but I know for myself I could not have lasted 2.5 hrs to te hospital when labor hit. I couldn't even last the 10 mins to our hospital. If you are really set on a vbac, and know you are a good candidate, I would talk to your ob-maybe you guys can work something out so you can have a vbac. GL! (sorry, I didn't really add much help)
