I got a gift card from barnes and noble last night and its burning a hole in my pocket lol. So what are your recommendation on books? I usually like lite reading. I prefer chick lit or even some cookbooks!
My guilty reading pleasure is LA Candy by Lauren Conrad, I was obsessed w/ The Hills.
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

I'm into the Southern Vampire series by Charlaine Harris. They're the books that the show True Blood is based off of. Definite light, campy reading!
I'm also a fan of Jodi Picoult. She wrote My Sister's Keeper and lots of others. She has a new one coming out on March 2nd, too.
Jennifer Weiner (In Her Shoes), Lauren Weisberger (Devil Wears Prada), and Sophie Kinsella (Confessions of a Shopaholic) are also funny chick lit authors that I like! Those are just the books that were made into movies, but they have other good ones, too!
Recently read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and it was really good.
Also, loved The Help by Kathryn Stockett.
Just thought about it and neither one of those is light reading, but they were great books!
For light reading I LOVE Jen Lancaster's books--she is really sarcastic and crack up at them. First is Bitter is the New Black. Also, I love Chelsea Handler's books.
I just finished reading the Twilight series. LOVED them!! I was totally against them but I saw part of the 1st movie on vacation by accident and then I spiraled out of control in a die hard fan.
I also love James Patterson's "Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas" and "Sam's Letters to Jennifer."
I love to read.... Any thing by Sharon Sala or Lori Foster are gaurentees that I will not stop reading till it is done..... I really like that Lori Foster is good with her characters and that they tie in book to book on her UFC series. Also the great sex scenes dont hurt!!!
I've been reading Laurell Hamilton's vampire series, lots of dirty sex, which I love.
I second these, a great series!!! I recently read Twilight to, which is a little too chick lit for me, but if that's your thing, you may enjoy it. Right now I'm reading Dracula by Bram Stoker. historically very interesting, although it can be a little slow at times (in particular, the letters between Mina and Lucy, but again, that may be of more interest for you). Whatever you choose, happy readings!

I'm reading Barefoot by Elin Hilderbrand. It's REALLY good but there is a pregnancy storyline. Light, easy reading but not too fluffy.
I just read Vision in White by Nora Roberts (light and easy) and my next book is The Postmistress by Sarah Blake.
I read a LOT.
ETA: I second the recommendation of Jen Lancaster books. She's hysterical. Start with Bitter is the New Black.
