Yet another stroller question

IS THERE A STROLLER OUT THERE FOR TWINS THAT ALLOWS ME TO USE 2 INFANT CARSEATS AT THE SAME TIME?  THE BUMBLERIDE TWIN LOOKS GREAT BUT IT ONLY SUPPORTS ONE CAR SEAT

  • I've been stalking the new City Select by Baby Jogger. ?It can take two infant car seats, and then when they outgrow infant car seats, it has it's own 6mo. + seats. ?

I think it's relatively new, so I'm having trouble finding a lot of people who have actually used it to give me feedback.?

    Good luck!?

  • just an FYI- typing in all caps = yelling on the internet.... lower case is appreciated :)

I have the City Select and LOVE it. I don't use it with 2 car seats so can't vouch for that... but since it's a tandem I'd probably just get a DSNG to use with 2 car seats instead of buying 2 of the car seat adapters for the Select... The DSNG is SO light and easy to use early on.

As for SBS strollers- there are I think 2 of them that take infant seats - the Easy Walker and one other (twinner twist i think?)... they aren't very popular - as most MoMs just get a DSNG and use their SBS strollers in full recline for infants.

the Select also can be used for infants without car seats - with the seats on full recline... but for short trips you'll want something to take your car seats so you don't have to wake babies and do/undo straps all day.

This but choose your infant seats accordingly.  We got Snugride 35s only to find it only fits the 32s.  Now we're scrambling to figure out a different stroller frame, it's really annoying.  (Wish Graco would make a double version of their stroller frame...  Grrr)

  • kolcraft contours is the one we got for this purpose.  however, i would strongly recommend getting a DSNG first.  then when the babes outgrow you can choose a stroller that really fits your needs/situation.

the kolcraft is a good stroller, just not great for our situation.  it is 45lbs, and i live on the 2nd floor with garage NOT attached.  so the kolcraft sits in the garage, and the DSNG was what i actually used as it was lightweight enough and folded small enough to keep in our house and get up and down the stairs.

  • Thanks for all the recs.  It is very very helpful.

As for typing in all caps, sorry that bothered someone; my iPhone doesn't give me another option in that box.
