Good places to visit on a Sunday?

It's beautiful out and I went to get out of the house. Problem is that I have no idea where to take DD. I was planning on going to hollywood beach but any ideas? Any zoos, good parks, nice places to hang out for a couple of hours? TIA!

Obviously this is too late for today, but we spent the afternoon at the Miami Metro Zoo. It was busy! But not too packed to enjoy it.
