Graco Safeseat

I'm thinking about getting this for the twins (we had the Snugride for my son but I like the Safeseat because it can fit a larger baby).  I have 2 questions-- does it work with the DSNG?  And when did your baby outgrow it?  I found that the Snugride was super tight on my son a few pounds before the weight limit.

    I'm fairly certain they don't sell the SafeSeat any more.  It's been converted to the SnugRide 32 or 35.

    If you do find a SafeSeat, they work with the 32/35 bases.

    do you really think you'll want to carry babies that big in the car seat?  I know I never did... I moved Gibby out when he was 18lbs b/c it was just too heavy with him + the seat... and Gray is close to getting moved out soon (he is 18lbs, but i'm trying to keep at least one in the seat a little longer b/c it's nice to have one in a seat - i can carry both outside at the same time still)... but my back is killing me lifting that seat up into my car!

    I won't carry them- we'll just leave the carseats in the car once they get past the newborn stage.  I just asked about the DSNG because I don't want to get 4 infant carseats.
