10 days overdue and counting...so frustrated!

I'm officially 10 days late and going crazy! I've tried all the old wives' tales...walking, bouncing on an exercise ball, spicy foods, pineapple, sex, spending time on my hands & knees...nothing seems to make this little guy want to come out!

My amniotic fluid is getting low and I will probably be induced late Monday night if I don't go on my own before then, but was really hoping to do this on my own and feel like my body is failing me.

Just needed to vent...is there anyone else out there who's 10 days late or more?

    I feel your pain! I am now 6 days late but my doctor won't induce me until next Friday night!!! I had a mini-breakdown in at 2am about it because I'm so frustrated!!! I too tried the old wives tales and ... NADA!

    How do you know that your amniotic fluid is getting low?

    I've had 2 ultrasounds in the past week, and they've measured the fluid during both. It's low (7 cm, then 6 cm) but not quite at critical point, which would be 5 cm. I'm surprised that you haven't had this done at 6 days past due...it's a pretty critical indicator of the baby's health...ask your doc about this.

    I'm realizing that my doctors suck....I had some complications and they sent me to a specialist awhile back where I received ultrasounds every month. The specialists changed my due date to the 15th (was the 18th). I go by that one because it's more scientific, but my regular OB won't change...so I guess in their minds my due date was still the 18th.

    Also, my OB only does an internal at 36 weeks, and I haven't had one since then! I have no idea where I'm at with dilation, etc.

    Tomorrow they're having me come in for a non-stress test to monitor the baby's movements I think...seems like a waste. If everything is fine, they'll let me go till next Friday night. 

    I'm frustrated!

    Oh dear it's my due date today and I'm already frusterated... I'm sorry you are still pregnant!!  Hopefully he comes today!! :)

    Sorry! A least you can't say you didn't try. I guess you are such a good pregnant mommy LO doesn't want to leave you :)

    Wow, I'm no where close to overdue and can't imagine your frustration!  I hope you go tonight!!!
