Restoration Hardware Furniture

Did anyone here splurge and buy their nursery furniture from here?  My mom is obsessed with this store and really wants to buy our baby room stuff from here.  Now, don't get me wrong, I love their stuff, but even on sale I feel they are ridiculously expensive.

My question is, for those of you who did purchase their furniture, did you feel like they are worth the price?  I feel bad spending that much of my mother's money, despite the fact she's insisting.  But if it is worth the money, then I might be able to stop worrying about the costs.

    DH really loves their stuff. I personally feel it is way too much to spend for a nursery but his parents will get most of it for us. I will post if we end up going that route. The quality is supposed to be better than PBK but still, is it that much better?

    That's what I'd like to know.  I'm sure part of the $$ is paying for band  name, and I have seen their stuff (not baby, but regular furniture) IRL at some of their stores, but we don't have one where I am, and the shipping is outrageous for their furniture (extra $100 surcharge for white glove delivery).

    The dresser we picked out is on sale, but I'm still afraid to commit!  I'm curious as to the quality compared to our local furniture stores.  I'm wondering if I could find something we can touch & see of comparable quality locally.

    i see their cribs all the time at the RH outlet. They look REALLY nice.

    I love their furniture, but could not justify the cost, plus the shipping is crazy. I got my bedding, lamps (which are awesome) and most of my accessories from there and am REALLY happy with everything. I ended up getting my furniture from PBK and have been really happy with that as well.
