TTC After a Loss

NTTCAL: Bed Poll and TMI question

So my DH and I just bought new furniture -- which included a king size bed frame..... WHOOOOO HOOOOO!!

Why is it that finding a bed is so dang difficult?

What kind of bed do you have?  Do you like it?

We have looked at about 10 places, Costco, and a latex bed are high on the list.  I considered a sleep number but it crossed my mind that FWP or any sex might be a bit difficult on it....

Re: NTTCAL: Bed Poll and TMI question

  • I had a sealy posturepedic at my parents house and left it when i got married but my husband still talk about how good he slept on that bed (2+ years later!) I don't know what kind we have now but he doesn't like it as much.

  • DH and I have a Sealy, we got it at JCPenny when we bought our bedroom furniture and bed. It's very comfortable, but we've only had it for 2 years and it's got a bump in the middle as we each sleep on our respective sides and it creates a weird bump in the middle of the bed. We'd flip it except its a pillow top. So my advice would be to avoid pillow tops for that reason.

On a completely different side note, I just noticed you live in Auburn, WA. I live in Kent ... we're practically neighbors! Smile

  • We recently got a king sized mattress and frame...because the dog sleeps with us and we're sick of being kicked by him when he's dreaming!

We got a Serta.  I reeeally want a down mattress to go on top, but that'll have to wait until I get paid this month.  It works fine for me but I like soft and downy.  We have never really had back issues or anything, and the price was great, so we went ahead and got it.  Once I get that down mattress I'll like it better.

Very much neighbors!  More than most on the board!!  Haven't you LOVED the weather this last week?  We went to snoqualmie falls today and I got some great shots there and also at the wetlands next to my office off 277th!

Gorgeous pics!!! Yes the weather has been wonderful!! DH spent the day working on our fence. He's taking full advantage of this weather. I'm LOVING it!

  • We have a Queen Pillow Top---not a brand name.  DH got it before we got married from a local place that makes them upon ordering them.  Very nice mattress!  Works for us!
