Do you remember your first impression of your DH/SO?
DH and I were in a class together. I just remember him as this jock guy who talked really loud and liked to gesture a lot.
We went to a bar with some classmates after the last class and I remember him looking at just me the whole time and his eyes were so dark and sexy.
Oh memories.
Re: NTR: first impression of your DH/SO?
hahaha omg yes. i thought he was a nerd. i had no idea why he was working at the bar we all worked at. i did not think he fit in at all.
then i tested him with the "how do you take your shirt off" test. he passed. we made out. the rest is history.
what is this shirt test? Sounds like a good test.
I met him in a Starbucks. He was so intensely handsome. Dark eyes, hair, skin. He was wearing khakis and a button down. He made my toes curl.
I just remember taking in his physical look, and the smell of his cologne. Oh, and I thought he was deaf and had a glowing blue hearing aid. But I was instantly attracted to him.
I was sort of with someone, so I really didn't pay much attention to him. Then we started talking on myspace and I convinced my friend to call him and tell him to take me on a date.
Ever since then, we have hardly been apart for more than a couple of days.
I know what you mean. About a month into dating DH I remember walking into his bedroom and thinking, "I'm going to marry and have kids with this guy". Crazy, but true!
I thought, "Wow, he's ripped."
We were at a lifeguard training class at a pool :P
Yes, I remember quite vividly although it was 15 (damn!) years ago. I was in 8th grade and he was in 7th, and it was at a school dance. We met through a mutual friend but were pining for other people at the time. I thought he was such a loser when I first met him, as mean as that sounds. And he thought the same about me.
We did become friends though, and over the next two years, I remember thinking how handsome he was becoming and wished he would ask me out. He did, and the rest is history!
i thought (and still think) he was the most gorgeous man i'd ever seen. and one word went through my mind, "big". lol.
and he was big. big head, big heart, big personality, big body, big...:)
he thought highly of me too, apparently. we both went home that night and told our parents we met the person we were going to marry.
Mama Jan's Kitchen... a food blog
I met him through a mutual college friend who'd gotten a group of people together to go out one night. I looked up as he was coming toward our table, and I thought, a) he looked like Stiffler, and b) he was too good-looking to actually be coming to sit down with us.

When we got to talking, my main impression was: super smart and good sense of humor!

Haha, I like this post!
My first thought...he's a serious flirt! Then I thought he was cute...and funny...and he was trying to buy me multiple drinks (although I was the DD for my friends). He was oposite of anyone I'd dated, which was attractive to me!
Ahhh, memories
I have two. He was a bartender at a bar I frequented. The first time I saw him, I totally made fun of his hair, which he had bleached. My sister actually commented on this in her MOH speach at our wedding. (Turns out he did it himself before a cruise...bad idea!)
I also remember the first time he spoke to me. He told me I had a beautiful smile. I thought he was pushing for big tips. Turns out, her really thought so...still does. DD has that smile too

Is was both of our first day of work(hired on the same day). I was sitting down and when he walked in the room I did a total double take- and we looked in each other's eyes for what felt like forever. Of course when someone asked me something I completely started stuttering.
We became good friends and I really liked him as a person when I got to know him. We didn't start dating until a year and a half later- but he still likes bringing up that day every once in a while.

EDIT_ Ok, I guess I had a long drawn out story that didn't answer the question. My first impression was that I was in complete awe for about 10 sec..
Something along the lines of ::swoooon:: I was at a bible study with my BF and DH was the guest speaker. He was new to the area and I had actually already met and exchanged emails with his roommate who he moved to MI with, but had never met him. I thought he was super hot and was trying to figure out how I could talk to him without him connecting the dots that I was there with my BF. I did talk to him afterward (no idea where the heck my BF was at that point?) but he said I should add him on myspace, he was in his roommate's top 8 (LOL.) He posted a bulletin a few days later about being homesick and since I had moved to the city the year before, I messaged him some pointers about cool places and things to do. We ended up messaging back and forth for weeks, multiple times a day, then started texting, then meeting up on our lunch breaks...
He told me later that it used to drive him crazy to see the messages I sent his roommate. They shared a computer and so he'd see his roommate checking his emails and he'd check how long the message was and compare to see if the one I sent him was longer, haha. One of my really good friends ended up dating and then marrying his roommate, though.
we met at the grungiest bar in town on a Tuesday night.
I was there for a birthday party against my will and he was there drowning in a very recent breakup.
He had really curly hair and I thought he was adorable. He told me that he had no friends and asked if I'd be his friend *worst pickup line EV.ER*
He flew home three provinces away for 2 weeks and we "met" over the phone.
When he came home we had both forgotten how the other looked but we were so hooked anyways. Luckily we're both cute
the rest is history.
