They keep coming and coming and coming. Why can't they just send one big bill for everyone? There are bills for the hospitalization, for the anesthesiologist, neonatologist, perinatologist...ahhhh. Honestly it isn't so much how much money as it is that every time I check the mail they want more!

Re: hospital bills-gripe
Ugh I know! I have a stack of 9 here already!! And yeah, in total, its not that much money so far, just all of the different billing departments : /
Oh and 2 here are for 'Baby A - "Lacey". Um... her name is LILY and she was baby B! Jeez! That one took over an hour on the phone to clear up.
And a PSA, which I'm sure you knew anyway, but check out the charges. I had a friend get charged for tests that were never done.
Yeah, we just got the circumcision bill at 6 months...
One thing to also consider is that some hospitals offer a discount if you pay in full but you usually have to ask for it (at least around here) so before you pay the hospital bill(s), call & ask if they have that type of discount.
We paid before we knew about ours and when I called back to get the discount applied to DS's hospital bill, they gave me a huge problem & said I couldn't use it after the fact & that you have to ask for it at the time of payment (even if you don't know it exists, apparently) but as soon as I started asking for supervisors & putting up a fight, they gave it to me.
I had heard this too. Someone also said that they never pay a bill until it had been sent to them 3 times. I think I'd be worried that it would go on my credit or that I couldn't manage to keep track of them all though.
It does seem never ending.
My DH had some sort of screw up with adding the boys to the insurance and it took a while for us to actuall figure out what happened.
He added them to HR and HR said they added them to the insurance company, but the insurance company had no record of it. They they only added 1 because they didn't get that we had 2 babies.
Actually we figured it out when we started getting full bills in my DH name with no mention of insurance.
I kept all the bills and matched them up over and over again because I wanted to make sure we didn't have any problems.
6 months after they were born we were still getting them.
My DH was like you every time I told him that we had another co-pay, he would be like didn't we already pay that?
