Baby Shower Issues

I live in a different state than both of my BEST friends..there are friends & family where I live that are wanting to host my shower. However, I really want my best friends to host it. They haven't said anything about the responsibility. Should I approach them about this or leave it alone?? Any advice is welcome!!

I probably wouldn't say anything to them directly, as in asking them if they plan on hosting one. Maybe you can casually mention that some friends and family where you live mentioned a shower and see if they bite.

Do you think it's possible they might be planning a separate shower...even a surprise shower?

I would LOVE a surprise shower, but I'm sure it won't happen

One lives in PA & one in GA..2 of us are teachers & our calendars are WAY off. It would be a miracle if they pulled off a surprise. I may get my mom to call them & see what is up!
