Spotting around time of period

in 1st Trimester

I am 7 weeks pregnant and I would normally be getting by period around this time. When I woke up and went the bathroom there was some pink on the toilet paper. I know spotting can be normal but it is Saturday and my doctor's office is closed and it is hard not to freak out. Did anyone spot around the time of their period?

    I didn't have any spotting, but it IS very normal, even more normal if you're supposed to get your period right now. Just keep an eye on it. Don't worry about going to the doctor unless you start bleeding more and it turns red. Also, you probably will get some cramping (I had AF cramps through weeks 5-7) ... as long as it isn't worse than AF cramps you're fine.

    I agree with PP. My doctor even mentioned this to me. Just keep an eye out on it. If it gets heavy or you have cramps call the dr.

    The same thing happened to me this week, and I would be "due" for another period right about now. I had really light spotting Wednesday-Friday, only when I wiped. I didn't call the doctor b/c my first appointment was scheduled for yesterday anyway. We got to see the baby and it's heartbeat in a us at my appointment yesterday. Good luck!!
