A 4 year old threw a tantrum and started gasping for air. Mom never called 911 and I'm pretty sure the little boy died from something happening during the tantrum.

i might retract my words later, but i dont think she murdered him. Especially if others saw him eating weird things on his own. (example his SS teacher seeing him eat weird stuff)
very bizarre story, but it sounds like he was a bizarre kid in general.
salt poisoning? never heard of it. how much would he have had to have consumed?? a whole container?
Mom to 2 beautiful girls, 3 yrs and 22 months old. My 2nd was born at 32 weeks due to Rhogam failure/severe complications from Rh disease and is our miracle. She has bilateral auditory neuropathy and a cochlear implant, activated 4/5/2012 at 19 months.

I agree. Sounds like he might have ingested some crazy stuff from the garbage or something.
and I must have missed where it would have been the best to call 911. I thought he was just throwing up. i dont know that i would call 911 either
I wouldn't either. The way she described it makes me thing it wasn't near bad enough to require an ambulance. Especially when they don't live that far.
I know it would take a while for any ambulance to get here. When we moved into the apartment, the office said it's an average of 7 minutes.
I can get to the hospital faster than that if I needed to.
