I judged another mom...

in Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

DS and I go to a Little Gym a couple days a week. Well a mom came in the other with an adorale DS. I had to take a double take because HIS ears were pierced. Yes, both of his ears! I was really surprised and you could tell the other parents were as well. Later when they were all playing the little boy fell and hit his ear on a bar thing. His scream was heartbreaking!!! He fell right on his ear and it pushed the back of the earing into his neck! It took her forever to calm him down! I felt horrible for him!

    Aw poor kiddo. :(

    One time when I was a cashier at wal-mart these people came through my line and their 2-3 year old had ONE ear pierced.

    Meh. DD has her ears pierced and we just went to a bday party today at which all of the kids there (all DD's age) had their ears pierced. None were boys, but still, this isn't one of the issues that pushes my buttons.

    I would love to pierce DD's someday but I can not imagine them being done now. She is such a monkey. (we go to Little gym too!)  She would probably have ripped them out by now because she is a climbing machine!

    It didn't push my buttons. My mom had my ears pieced when I was 18 months old but I have never seen a little boy with his ears pieced. I think more than anything I just felt so bad for him when he fell on it

    LukyNLuv's DD has her ears pierced and wears little hoops now.
