Ergo users or back carriers

I wanted to buy a carrier for my back.

    I use a mei tai for back carries. I have an ergo but it seems to sit pretty low when on my back and DS likes to see over my shoulder and pull my hair, so the mei tai works for us.

    i also use a mei tei because you can do higher carries so your LO sees over your shoulder.

    I have an Ergo.  I love it for some things, especially when DS is in and out a lot, when he is happy and can ride in the cart or stroller, then I can strap him on.  I also have a mei tai.  I made mine, but it is exactly like an Eden baby carrier.  It is more comfortable for actual hiking.and longer outings.  Both are great carriers.  You will not be disappointed with either.  If I could only buy one, I would probably get the Ergo just because it is a bit more versatile. 

    BTW... I have a frame pack too.  I would never buy it again.  It sucks by comparison.
