convertible car seat?

My in-laws just purchased a condo in Florida and we're planning to go out there at least 2x per year, starting in April. We're up in DC, so we're going to fly there each time. Would it be worth it to spend $150-200 on a convertible car seat for DD? If we did that, we wouldn't have to worry about checking her car seat every time we visit...thoughts?

Re: convertible car seat?

  • Get a Cosco Scenera and pay $50 or thereabouts.  They are very highly rated but just a much more inexpensive option and "great for grandparents" per Baby Bargains.
