PBK Coco Dot --backorder questions?

I just ordered the Coco Dot Crib bedding from PBK for my little one.  It SAYS it is backordered until June 22.  I am due July 12 and that is really pusing it for me.  I am wondering if anyone else has had experience with backordered items at PBK.  Do they usually come in earlier, later, on time, etc.  I really love the bedding, but my nursery with be naked while waiting THIS long!!  Also, can I cancel the order if I happen to find something else??  Thanks for the input

    shoot really,,,I am using that bedding as well and last week it said backordered until April..That's not good!..i'm due July 3rd..but i guess i don't really need it right away anyways..baby will be in our room in a co-sleeper. Sorry, no advice...i'm going to order anyways..hopefully they will up the production and send them out on time.

    It says backordered until April on the site, then when you put it in your cart to purchase, it sayd June 22!!  I ordered it anyway, and am also hoping it comes quicker!!  Maybe we will get some answers! :)

    I ordered mine over a month ago and when I placed the order I was given a backorder ship date for the last week in February.  Well we are almost at that promised ship date and I just got an email today saying that it is now backordered until April 11th.  I am not too happy.

    Sorry this is long but I want to share all of the details....?

    I had MAJOR issues with PBK over Christmas. ?I ordered something and?received?an email?confirmation?that it should ship in a few days. ?About a week later I still hadv't recieved the item or an email so I checked online and it was now backordered until Jan. 17th (I ordered on Nov. 30). ?I was upset because it was a santa gift for my 4 year old son. ?I called a store and they gave me some numbers so I could call myself to see if anyone had on in store they could send me. ?I called about 15 stores myself with no luck. ?I checked the website again and it was now moved until Feb 1. ?The next day it changed to no available date. ?I called costumer service to see what was up. ?The guy was rude to me and said that if the date gets taken off, it means that its no longer available. ?I asked him to cancel my order then and he said, you can cancel it yourself online anytime. I was now freaking out. ?I called a store again and the lady told me her computer said April 1. ?I knew that I could not wait that long, so I ended up buying it on ebay for WAY more than it cost. ?I was mad, and I thought that the costumer service sucked, but my son wanted it and I wanted to make it happen. ?The ebay one?arrived?before Christmas and it was the star of Christmas so it was worth it.

    On Dec 28 the item arrived! ?I was in shock and mad all over again! ?I never did cancel the order, because I thought we had until April when it would be available. ?I now had two of these things, one of which wsas expensive to begin with and one that I paid way too much for and could not return to the ebay seller. ?We have decided to just keep the other one for our younger boy so it all worked out okay. ? But man, the costumer service was not?good?at all.

    All of this to say, yes it may come sooner even though they keep changing the dates. ?And yes, according to the rude guy at costumer service, you can cancel anytime it is on backorder.?
