32 1/2 weeks and decreased movement??

Ughhhhh, did any of you ladies have problems thinking that you were only feeling the one baby move and that the other one wasn't?? I've been freaking out about my DD (baby a) not moving today (ive felt her a couple times maybe) and my DS is moving all around.

But then I think that maybe she's moving, too. LOL I am turning into an anxiety attack over this, but its not something i want to call my doctor over and go to L&D for tonight. I have a dr appointment tomorrow at 2:30, but i was wondering if you guys ever experienced this?

  • Yes I worry about this all the time - do you know how they're positioned? The one I feel less is the girl who is facing my spine, so I know that's why I don't feel her as much, but it still worries me.

  • The positions they are in sometimes, plus where the placenta is positioned can make you feel one more than the other. I feel baby B way more than A (A's placenta is anterior) I know it can be worrisome sometimes but I do take comfort when I can feel baby A's kicks here and there! GL
  • I worried about that, too. I would definitely talk to your OB about it and ask for their guidelines on when to go in. I'm really not trying to scare you, but I know a couple different people who felt decreased movement at the end of pregnancy, were told "Oh that's just normal; they run out of room at the end," but then their babies were stillborn. :( I know it's harder with multiples b/c some of their movement might be absorbed by their twin, but I think it's definitely something to keep an eye on. I rented a doppler and that helped with my peace of mind, too.

  • I too am 32 weeks and I feel as if I don't feel Baby B who is a girl as much as I feel her brother Baby A! At last check they are both cephalic and I have two anterior placentas. I do feel movement above my belly button but for some reason I associate it with Baby A for some reason when it could very well be Baby B! I am not sure why but I worry about Baby B more, and there isn't a reason to as all ultrasounds and testing say they are both fine! For me the worrying has kicked up a notch as I am getting closer to the end!
  • i felt like this all the time near the end of my pregnancy. If you are concerned call your OB, it never hurts to ask. I'd rather know for sure than wonder.
