Really dumb bathing suit question

We got this one for P from Gymboree.

Do I need to get her a special diaper or can I just put her in her regular diaper underneath the suit? Also, we usually CD at home, so can I use her CD (BG 3.0) or should I use a disposable?

Get swim diapers if she's going in the water. They don't expand as much as a regular diaper and if you're going to a pool they usually require them.

A regular diaper will swell up like nobody's business.

Just use the BG cover, minus the insert. We did this last year with DS and it worked great!

Aw crap, just what I needed. More CD stuff to buy

DS loves turtles and fish, so I guess I know what I'm getting for under his trunks.
