Question for those who have traveled while bf-ing without baby

It looks like I have to travel in may for work for a few days. Do you try to pump and save the milk or just pump and dump and use the freezer stash? I have plenty in the freezer already.

    If you're staying in a hotel, you should be able to request a mini-fridge to keep your milk in. I don't know what you do about flying as I was driving when I had to travel.  But, I do know that many airlines are very accommodating for BFing mothers.

    However, I had a friend who had to travel for work and that was basically the end of BFing for her because she couldn't figure out a way to get the milk back home from TX.  

    So, in short, I think it depends on the airline you're flying with, but I think it's totally do-able.

    Good idea! I bet I could check a cooler but it might be easier to just pump and dump to keep my supply up and avoid engorgement.

    It would be easier to pump and dump, but I could never bring myself to do that.  It was too precious to me.  And I think the airline you're flying might have procedures for transporting BM.  Like, I don't know if you can check it or if they have a place on the plane they will store it for you.

    I'm working on it.  I'm mailing out his invites this weekend and then I've got to order food/finalize the menu and figure out where to get the cake or decide to do it myself.
