i have come seriously close a few times. I am considering putting a pail by the changing table. I have some major gag issues (someone's fart once made me vomit) and have been dry heaving since solids have been introduced. I think it is only a matter of time before I actually do.

Of course- B thinks this is hysterical and laughs as I heave

I am a really big "gagger" and i have to put a mask on when i change poopy diapers. I gag so hard that it makes my eyes water. Sometimes I tie a blanket or scarf around my mouth/nose cuz its so bad.

Target sells scented poop bags that we use. The dirty diaper and wipes go right in the bag and out into the trash. It does help with the smell.

Solids = horrific smelling poops

I have not had this experience. DH does which makes me laugh so hard almost cry.

I gagged once and of course that was the one time we were filming. It was a major blow out and all up his back and yeah, we were gross parents who thought it would be funny to film.

LOL at the fart comment. I used to be worried about gagging during diaper changes. Has not been a problem yet, but DD just started solids and she still has the breastfed stools. So- before DD came along, I was a dentist and occasionally I would have a patient whose mouth smelled like a port-a-potty. Not joking. I would put gauze soaked in Listerine in my mask and go to work. I would try a regular mask first (like pps suggested). If the mask is not enough you can try to rub peppermint oil on it or Listerine. HTH.

I have a feeling that when I get pregnant again, I will. I had terrible smell/vomiting issues when I was pg with DD. I'm already dreading changing diapers next time!

Yes, I have.

I had a horrible stomach bug. I was changing her diaper/wiping her and puking in a bag at the sametime. It was a horrible 3 days of the stomach bug that was going around.

I was fine until I got pregnant. Of course my nausea coincided with us feeding J cut up grapes, so I got chunky weird smelling poop that was almost a blow out. Making me gag just to type it out.
