I'm going to a wedding next month and need a dress. I've gone to Destination Maternity a few times and haven't seen any I've liked. Is there anywhere else, new or used, that you would suggest for a dress that I could wear to a wedding?
TIA!

This site has some cute ones! Good luck! I found one at Pea in the Pod for a wedding I went to while pregnant. Maybe you could get away with a flowy dress from a normal size store. I bought some flowy dresses from Express in a bigger size last spring and they worked out great for the first half of my pregnancy!
I also found some cute dresses at Pea in the Pod in Beachwood...There is a Gap maternity section in the GapKids store at Beachwood as well and I've seen some dresses in there but I haven't been there in a long time, so I don't know what they have out now.
I attended a wedding when I was 8 months pg and wore a non-maternity black stretchy-waist skirt (that I already had) w/ a black & patterned (w/ small red floral design) maternity top that I purchased at Growing Years, a kids/maternity resale shop in Stow, OH. I can try to dig up a photo of my outfit, if you'd like to see. Some regular thrift stores (Goodwill, Salvation Army etc) also often carry maternity clothing.
For me, it was easier to deal with a dressy skirt/top combo than to try to find a flattering dress since I was so far along. You might also try Kohl's. (If you won't be very far along, check the regular departments, too, for babydoll styles which can sometimes work well.) IMO, Pea in a Pod can be pricey and to wear a maternity cocktail dress once, not worth the $$.

they had some cute long halter dresses at express that I tried on just the other day and I am due in 2 weeks! I thought they would be cute to wear to a wedding, depending on how formal it is! Also sounds crazy but Charlotte Russe sometimes has stretchier dresses (if you can find long enough ones) My friend got her baby shower dress from there! Good luck!
Thank you all! I have been checking out Salvation Army, but with no results for dresses so far (although I've gotten a few other cute staples). No appropriate dresses at Kohl's and Old Navy...yet. I'm going to keep checking the Beachwood Motherhood Maternity/Pea in the Pod, and I guess I'll venture into the real shopping world and see what fits I'm not a catalog/online shopper normally since I'm pretty picky, but I may try that out too.

Re: Maternity Cocktail Dress
Pea in the pod has cute dresses. That is Destination Maternity at Beachwood though and you tried there.
