My aunt posted a pic on Fb yesterday with her grandson with a shirt on that says big brother....I say congrats and she writes back "thanks she is only 5 weeks and hasn't even seen her doctor yet".....Oh the dream world I wish I could live in..vent over

Ughh.. stupid FH. I was catching up on posts earlier and saw we are going to do a sweeties check-in. I know Betsy and I can't get on the bump at work so evenings are best for us. Sometimes I can get on at lunch but I don't have a lot of time. Hope you have a great day, I've gotta go to work!

Ughhh......DH and I joke that next time I am KTFU we aren't telling anyone until I'm checking into L&D.

I know right?....I guess if you have never been through a loss you dont know that ANYTHING could happen....That's why I am so glad I have you guys because if I get pregnant again we promised not to tell anyone until well until the 2nd trimester but I know I can tell you but really 5 weeks? FB? big brother shirt?....

When I first found out I was pg with #2 in September, I made DD a onesie that said "I have a secret" on the front and then on the back it says "I'm gonna be a big sister". I put it on her for when DH came home from work, and we took some really cute pics, and then brought her over to my parents' house to tell them. We never "went public" with it and just told close family and friends, but that onesie and those pics still haunt me. I can not bring myself to get rid of the onesie even though she will never wear it again, and I don't want to delete the pics either, but at the same time it makes me so sad to still have them

I can understand that with DH or family but on FB at 5 weeks ..? It makes me sad that some people have no idea

Yeah that's kind of ridiculous for 5 weeks. The one good thing about being across the country from all friends and family is we can hide a pregnancy for as long as we want. If we get pg again, I'll tell y'all, and my mom, and that's it until probably 20-25 weeks.?

We did the same....and here goes, please don't flame, I was a stupid FH. We posted on FB at 6 wks. I didn't know any better. I'd had an easy pregnancy with DH & it seems that everyone in my family is super fertile. Turns out it didn't matter anyway b/c our loss was later, but I will only be telling you guys & a couple close IRL girlfriends until people start calling me out on a belly next time.

Same here. I can't imagine telling at 5 weeks. I really doubt we'll tell even close family before 20 weeks.
