  One can up post counts by repeatedly clicking on a thread. Very easy to do. click with mouse, hit backspace, click with mouse, hit backspace ::to infinity::

  I'm willing to bet someone keeps refreshing to up the view count.  That thing got to 500 views in like 3 minutes.  That many lurkers in the same post would probably crash TB.
