I went to the Dr. today, and Twin A is measuring right on schedule and is 1.5 lbs. Twin B is measuring a week behind and is only 1lb. The growth scan 4 wks ago didn't show a descrpancy between the two. B has some restriction in the blood flow from the cord, and less amniotic fluid. So, now I am on bedrest to see if we can get any improvement. If not, I get to stay in the hospital for the remainder of the pregnancy.
Anyone that has any tips, encouagement, advice, please let me know!

Re: Twins & IUGR
Baby B showed IUGR starting around week 30. She had a cord abnormality with not optimal blood flow. The IUGR showed after I'd already been in the hospital for a few weeks on bedrest due to PTL. (Her fluid was always fine.) I'd already been having lots of daily monitoring to keep an eye on both DDs. They decided not to send me home when I hit 34 weeks (the original plan) in order to keep watching her closely.
I had the girls at 35w2d after A's water broke. I did have the steroid shots due to my PTL, but I hope it's encouraging for you to hear that she was 100% healthy, even with her teeny size of 3 1/2 lbs. She spent one night in the NICU for close monitoring, but that is all, and we took home a 3 1/2 lb baby!
We were diagnosed IUGR and I made it to 37 weeks, so stay hopeful. We did see improvement in our IUGR twin after I did a couple weeks of modified bedrest. The more you can be still the better so that the IUGR twin can get as much blood flow and nutrition as possible.
GL!! I hope your next scan shows improvement.
