Back from 1st Peri visit

Overall it was a very good visit, after my OB scared DH and myself that one of the twins could vanish, we saw both hearts beating away and doing and growing excellent. So for now everything looks excellent. They did find a very large cist on my right ovary and that gave the Dr. concern and I have to go back for another u/s and if it gets bigger he thinks it will have to be removed. So that's kind of scary, I see my OB again next week so I'll follow up with him too.

I also got to see my first 3D ultra sound, it was really cool, but at first I was like, "All I see are blobs, what am I looking at?" lol.

That's great that the babies are doing well! Hopefully that cyst won't cause you any problems.

=0 why in the world would your OB say such a thing?!

so glad your 1st appt went well!!! and the babies are growing well, YAY!!!

I had a very large cyst as well up until at least 13 weeks. I believe at our last scan they did not see it. It has not caused me any problems so far. Good luck!

Nice. I don't start seeing my Peri until 20 weeks. I wonder if that is the norm.

I'm glad the appt went well. I had no idea they did 3D u/s in the first tri! If you could post that, I would love to see it!

I'll have to scan it in when I get home from work it was pretty cool to see them both.
