SAHM moving to the area.

My husband has just accepted a position in city near Grand Rapids (Muskegon??) and we will be moving in a few weeks. I'm a southern girl born and raised in Savannah Ga so this move will be quite a culture shock for me. I figured I would come on over here now and try to meet some new people and maybe ask a few questions as the big move gets closer. 

I look forward to getting to know all of you!

    Hi and welcome to West Michigan!!  My husband and I lived in North Carolina for 2 years and we just moved back to Michigan in August.  Definitely be prepared for a culture shock, but once you get used to it, it's great!

    SarahandMike: I am pretty nervous about the move. My husband went to school in NY so I visited there about twice a month and that was culture shock for me. I can't imagine how I am going to feel when I get to MI.

    Hi!

    I live in the Muskegon area also! I was raised in the Spring Lake area, moved to Athens, GA in 2000, lived there for 5 years, and moved to Muskegon!
