While I was getting my hair cut today there was an old lady beside me getting hers cut too. Her hairdresser was telling her about her boyfriend and how they going on a trip to Arizona next week to visit his family blah blah.
When the old lady was leaving she gave her hairdresser a tip and said "this is for your trip to Arizona" she thanked her and then the old lady added "In case he dumps you when you get down there!"
LMAO
Re: Old people crack me up
I think it's their generation. My memere is the worst, she says hurtful things all the time because she is just voicing an opinion and doesn't realize it can be hurtful

This is the kind of thing that I hate about old people, not the kind of thing that cracks me up. Granted her comment wasn't as bad as some I have heard (mostly out of my grandmother) but it still was totally inappropriate. I hate that old people seem to think they can say whatever the eff they want.
Sorry, I just have a chip on my shoulder about this kind of thing anyway because my grandmother sucks big fat hairy balls and is always saying rude things.
I often wonder if this comes with age. My mom said, and I agree too, that my grandma would say rude things that she would never have said when she was younger.
For example, my mom, aunt, grandma and I were our for lunch one day. There was a physically challenged boy in the resturaunt. My grandmother said out loud mind you, "What is wrong with that boy! Why does he look so funny". OMG. I was going to die.
This coming from the woman who was apparently as sweet as pie when younger. Would never say anything hurtful to anyone.
Unfortunately I am noticing this with my own mother. Kinda scares me. Sometimes I think its because her mental state has changed after her illness, but she is reminding me more and more of my grandma.
