I had my first ultrasound this morning and not only is there a heartbeat, but we're measuring ahead of schedule. They updated my EDD to 10/9 (instead of 10/12 based on my ovulation date). I'll take that with a grain of salt because I'm wary of upping an EDD (would love to avoid being induced).

One more (odd) thing... When I got into my car to go to the doctor this morning, an old interview with Julian Lennon (John Lennon's son, who "Hey Jude" was written about) was on Howard Stern. I smiled at the odd coincidence, but would love to believe that our little Jude was smiling too and just wanted to make her presence known. ;-)
