Where are my babies' hiccups?

While in vitro, my first daughter had hiccups ALL THE TIME.  Every single day around 3pm. At least. I just realized I haven't felt the twins have hiccups at all. NOt even once. What's up with this? Isn't it normal for babies to have hiccups? Or is my DD the abnormal one with her daily dose?

Re: Where are my babies' hiccups?

  • I only felt hiccups maybe 3 times. ;-)

  • I feel Baby A's hiccups more often then B's.  I am guessing if you don't feel them, it is just because of how they are positioned.  I would not worry, but if you are, call your doctor! I am sure they can calm your fears over the phone.

  • DD had them all the time.  It was actually the first movement I recognized as movement.

I just started feeling hiccups this week, and even now it's only Baby B.

  • My baby A had them at least once a day and sometimes more.  B hardly ever had them so I think all babies are different.  I do know that when I was going for my stress tests at the end that Baby B had hiccups and I hadn't felt them.
