I'm in East Lampeter Twp. We just moved here from NJ at the end of July and I'm still learning the area but loving it so far. I'm so glad I found this board!
Welcome to lancaster county! I live in West Lampeter Township! I do not come onto the board as often as I use to but if you need any help learning the area, feel free to email me at Cortney81@comcast.net.
I live in Leola which is not to far from West Lampeter Township. Feel free to email me also if you have any questions bec_peters@yahoo.com . Welcome to Lancaster County.
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!!
I know just where Leola is because that is where DD will go to elementary if we don't move first. We are looking to buy in the LS School District at some point.. hopefully in Strasburg although DD is in pre-school in Willow Street right now and that is nice too.
I am moving down there in March/April whenever our closing date is determined on our house. We are buying in Denver/Adamstown, pa. DH just got a job down there and right now he is commuting 2 hrs from the Poconos. I have been lurking on the board a little bit but don't really know anyone.

I know how that is... we moved here for a job transfer too and my husband commuted for 6 months (before we sold our house) about an hour and forty each way with no traffic. Often longer. It stinks! At least you have a light at the end of the tunnel! I know it made it so much easier for me once I knew that it was going to come to an end and we'd be moving closer.
I'm in Warwick Township/Lititz...the last house in the borough in Lititz. We moved to Lititz in February 2007, and bought a house in September 2008. We love the area!! I work in Smoketown, which is in East Lampeter Township. The park there is a great place in the summer time for an afternoon nap. :-)
