My DD's name is Donnabella. NN coudl be Ella. We call her Donnabella though.
oh, and when we're out places and people ask her name and I say Donnabella- they 99% of the time refer to her as Bella. Even a few times I corrected people and said no, her first name is Donnabella, not Bella; they still will call her Bella. DD doesn't know who Bella is!!! She will answer to Baby and Sugar Booger though.

I agree! Plus, if you know for sure you want to call her Ella why not just name her that?
