I'm trying not to freak out but I'm a little nervous.
I waver between hoping they find something that can be easily fixed and will explain my lining issues to hoping they find nothing. I am, however, looking forward to the drugs!

IVF #1-4=BFN
IVF #5=BFP! U/S on 5/3 revealed TWINS!
Is it a diagnostic or operative hysteroscopy? I've had both and, honestly, neither was bad. I was awake during the diagnostic one and got to watch (they were looking for scar tissue). I had very little pain, just a bit of cramping. I had an operative hysteroscopy a few weeks later to remove the scar tissue that they found. I was a little nervous about being totally under and having to be intubated; I had never been under general anesthesia before, only twilight. I had no issues. I felt great the day of the procedure but a bit groggy the day after.
I think it's sort of both. I know that I will be out, but they told me it was like IVF sedation. However, the doctor keeps calling it surgery.
I think he is going in to see if there is anything and will take it out if there is...

Haha Yes the drugs will be the highlight of the procedure!
I know what you mean when you kind of hope they find something for an explanation. Hopefully if anything is found, it can be easily fixed!

Ah, got it. I think my situation was a little weird since they weren't 100% what was in there - polyps, scar tissue, or something else. It made a world of difference for me and I hope it does for you, too!
I had my operative hysteroscopy on Jan. 15. He removed some polyps and scar tissue. When I woke up, I had some bad cramping but then I got tons of pain killers. The worst part was the nausea/vomiting from the meds.
