What kind of shoes are ya'll wearing?

I work in an office where we dress casual. I usually wear nice dark jeans and nice top. With DD, I wore heels throughout but just not feeling them this time around. Tell me what you're wearing and any recs would be great. Please, no ballet flats - offer me NO support and kill my back. Been rocking the boots but spring will be here soon and I want to put em away already.TIA!

  • Loading the player...
  • Try kitten heels- lower and more comfy. Also I love tall boots.

I'm still rockin my stilettos and suits.

  • Uggs.  Them or ballet flats.  Clearly I'm no help.
  • I wear nice jeans to work with a cute top, and New Balance slip on's.

I bought my New balance shoes from Sears and they are awesome because they just slip right on! SO EASY, since I don't have to bend over, AND they have alot more give to them than regular shoes for incase my feet swell! Adding gel inserts is also an option for extra cush. :)

  • Invested in ballet flats I hate them (they give me blisters if I wear them too long) also but I've been wearing leggings more and they go with em..At work I wear vans sneakers and they dont hurt my feet..I dont think I'm help either..sorry!
  • My office is in a trailer on a construction site, so we could not wear heels at all which was a bummer. I bought some slip-on loafer-type shoes at JCPenney-- similar to the Kate Ann? 'Conway' Slip-On

it has a 1 1/2 wedge heel.  The slip-on aspect is nice, because its getting more difficult to tie my shoes with this belly in the way. I also bought 1/2  a size up to compensate for end of the day swelling, and I wear mine with thin trouser socks.

  • I've pretty much been wearing my regular heals... although I have gotten a few shorter pairs. I personally love 9 west. They usually have some pretty good online sales. (and free shipping on orders over $50 right now)
  • I found these early on and they've been great - https://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/7507008/c/72.html

They are really comfortable and look passably cute (cuter in real life than in the pics). And I got them at Nordstron Rack, so they were MUCH cheaper.

  • I have been wearing my sneakers. I tried to wear my boots last week and my back was KILLING me after 2 days. So I am sticking with my new balance sneakers. Luckily my employer is okay with this!!
  • At work I wear mt regular heels but at home its my new balances or if I need to dress up a bit I have some wedge boots that are pretty comfortable.

  • JCPenny has a lot of cute kitten-heel style shoes, otherwise the flats are just terribly uncomfortable. If you wear suits, get a nice pair of oxfords, they're like wearing sneakers but still passable for business. If you have to dress it up, just make sure your shoes are wide enough to accomodate any swelling.

  • Keen Presidio's. every day. I <3 them.

...just don't ask why a girl in a wheelchair wears $90 shoes. - but hey - I'll never wear them out! Wink

  • I know this sounds super dorky but I like shoes from Aerosoles. They are comfortable and they have cute ones with a low heel. I also have a pair of flats from there and they are the only flats that I find comfortable to wear all day.

I also wear my Danskos with longer pants/jeans. They're hideous but do the trick. I'm on my feel all day, though.

  • How about a pair of Sperry Topsiders? I LOVE my Sperry's. I have a pair of casual ones (the generic plaid) and a pair of gray and black wool ones that I wear when I want to be more dressy.

Bonus: Boat shoes! They won't scuff your floor and they're water proof. As if that matters!

  • Dansko's are the best.  I got hooked because my husband and sister have worn them every day all day during surgery for years.  There is no cushion, but for some reason the way they are built make them the only shoes I can walk in all day and still feel great.
