I've been MIA, but I have news!

I haven't been on the boards much lately b/c of a sudden illness in the family and I had to take in my niece and nephew while their dad and mom were in the hospital... plus we had oh, 48 inches of snow and entertaining a 14-yr old nephew and 20-year old niece while snowed in majorly intruded on my nesting time, plus being out of the office for a week means crazy busy times at work...

but WE HAVE A REFERRAL!!!! :-)

And we're accepting it!!! SQUEEEEEEE!!!

He's 6 months old and if all goes smoothly, he should be home with us by the end of summer hopefully in time for his 1st birthday!!

4 years of infertility including 2 losses and now I'm paper pregnant!!!!!

Time to start the nursery!!!! :-)

    Married on 3.20.2004. It took 30 month, 2 failed adoptions and IVF for our first miracle. We have had 9 foster kids since he was born and started the domestic adoption process when he was 10 month old, we had 4 failed matches in that time. After our daughter was born we brought her home and spent 2 weeks fearing we might lose her because of complications that came up. But Praise God all went through and she is ours forever!     Congrats!

    TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!

    Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!

    Congratulations!!!  We got back from Seoul in October with our son, so ask me any questions about travel, it's still all so fresh in my mind!  Oh my gosh, I just realized that you're in Maryland too!  Maybe we can set up a playdate with our sons when you get back.  I would love to meet other Korean adoptee families.  Good luck, I hope the time to travel goes by quick.

    I'm sorry to hear about the difficult time your family has been going through, but SO HAPPY for your receiving this good news!!!!!  You must be so freaking excited!  I can't imagine what it must be like to know who your son is, and to anticipate meeting him in just a few months!  I'm so excited for you!!!  Party!!!
